Marakopa Falls is an easy acces waterfall and worth the drive from Waitomo Caves! We have seen some impressive waterfalls in the North Island but for ease of access (450m walk) and the scale of the waterfall this may be the winner for me. Prior to the Marakopa Falls is MangaPogue Natural Bridge which really is more of an arch than a bridge but hey its still very cool. I couldn't take a descent photo of the arch and I dont think I could really do it justice its just one of those places you have to see for yourself and say "Wow" as you walk around the corner.
