Karangahake Gorge Walkway is a must do walk! We spent a couple of hours here and completed the Windows walk which was awesome exploring the mining tunnels and admiring the stunning views from the holes in the side of the tunnels, I recommend you have a torch for this one. We then completed the Rail Tunnel loop which was a walk through a super long tunnel which looks orange because of the lighting, it was nice and cool in the tunnel which was a relief from the hot day outside.
