This easy stunning coastal walk starts from the Taylors Mistake beach carpark. The track is very easy and well maintained and the views all around are beautiful. The loop itself took us just on 2 hours, we were unable to stop and look at the WWII building as they are under maintenance and are fenced off from the public currently. While it was a sunny day when we walked it the wind is brutal, and I would recommend wearing some layers to keep the wind out. On the loop back into Taylors we came across sheep and lambs and many mountain bikers. The first part of the walk was busy but once past Godley head heading toward Lyttleton there were very few people completing the loop. An easy enjoyable coastal walk for the family and your four legged friends.
